Immortals DVD

20TH CENTURY FOX PRESENTS...

IMMORTALS

Be on the lookout for the visually stunning movie - Prime Immortals,  that will be released Beginning on March 6th.

ABOUT:
In this movie it is up to a courageous warrior,  touched by the gods,  to save all of mankind from a dangerous tyrant.  Rouke (the king hyperion) threatens humanity as he searches to find a deadly weapon that will give him the power to unleash war on both Heaven and Hell.  Immortals combines the world of Zuess along with other Greek gods with the world of grimy mortals.  This movie is packed full of must see scenes,  believe me you won't want to take your eyes off the screen!  Directed by Tarsem Singh(The Cell) and written by Charles Parlipanides.

Immortals features an all star cast including:  Henry Cavill (Superman: Man of Steel), Luke Evans (Robin Hood), Kellan Lutz (Twilight), Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), Stephen Dorff (Public Enemies), John Hurt (Hellboy) and Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2)

OUR THOUGHTS:
Not only was the story very compelling,  but the visuals were  very impressive!  The brilliant visuals of the entire movie and the blood fight scenes are absolutely breath taking.  This is definetly more of a guy movie although I enjoyed the excellent visuals and graphics throughout the movie not to mention the cast is all male so yeah, there is certainly a lot of nice eye candy(just don't tell the hubs).  It's packed full of action and let's be honest...what guy could ask for more than that!  My husband is really into these type of movie so it wasn't surprising that he stayed glue to the set the entire time it was on.

The graphics on Immortals were amazing. It’s no surprise though since it is from the producers of 300. It looked great in theaters, and I can only imagine how good it will look on a Blu-Ray. I am renting one from Blockbuster in a little while, and I can’t wait! Normally, I would have waited until it was sent to me in the mail using Blockbuster @Home, but since I have a real interest in Greek mythology, I wanted to see Immortals again as soon as possible. I really like having Blockbuster @Home because with DVDs and Blu-Rays, I get streaming to my laptop, TV and iPad in places like the library or at DISH where I work. I am excited about seeing Immortals in Blu-Ray!
