IT'S A GIRL!

So... after having three boys, it's official I am finally having a girl!  I have wished for a girl since my second son and of course I wouldn't change him for anything or my third son for that matter but to have a girl is my dream come true!  Now of course I want a healthy baby, I think that goes without saying,  but I just have to throw that in because I know there's gunna be people out there that says "I just hope for a healthy baby".  Well of course everyone wants a healthy baby and of course it is most important.  But secondly, I hoped for a baby GIRL because this was my last chance at having a girl.  Not because I only want ot have four kids,  but rather because I can only have four children.  You see, I have had three C-Sections now and when I had the third one they said I have a lot of scar tissue and advised me not to have another one,  but I just had to try one last time!

I found out I was having a girl at a rather odd time.  I was at the ER a couple weeks ago in a ton of pain and my lab results came back elevated for my gallbladder,  so they sent me to ultrasound to view my gallbladder.  Sure enough, I had a bunch of stones floating around my gallbladder...that was the bad news.  But right after came the good news!  The ultrasound tech offered to do an ultrasound of the baby if I wanted and even tell me the gender,  so of course I anxiously said "Yes"!  Well, after less than a minute she told me "It's a girl!  I was expecting her to say a boy, because even though deep down I wanted a girl so bad,  I didn't want to get my hopes up,  so when she said it was a girl of course I couldn't help but ask "are you sure?"  She did a color scan and sure enough it was a girl, even though I can't help but think it's gunna grow a penis by the next ultrasound appointment, lol!

So after three prince's I'm finally getting my princess and she's gunna have a lot of princes to look after her!  I am due in October, but will be scheduled for my c-section a week earlier than my due date.  No worries though, my babies are always over 8 pounds, matter of fact the more I have the bigger they are!  I just went shopping for my little rosebud for the first time this weekend and had so much fun!  I am starting to get all the baby necessities so I can have all the items in time for her arrival.  It is so nice to be able to shop in the pink section for once.We also have to move into a three bedroom and oh, did I mention we won't fit in our 5 seat Impala so were going to have to get a new car!  It's so worth it though and we can't wait to meet our baby girl!

I can't wait for Pig Tails, Headbands, Dresses, and all the other girly stuff that comes along with baby girls! :)

Congrats! I am so excited for you! Now, to start buying the bows and girls adorable things. YAY! Sorry about the gallbladder trouble though. Good news is, from when mine was removed many years ago, they now made it much easier than years ago

Congrats on the baby girl! I'm so happy for you. When I was pregnant with my daughter my gallbladder acted up as well. I cant tell you how many nights I spent up in total complete pain even passing out sometimes because it was just too much. Luckily all went well with my daughter she was born healthy and happy. I hope the same for you and I hope that your gallbladder doesnt give you too much grief. I know for me I would have rather been in labor :(

Thanks everyone! And @ Meagan I felt the same way...labor pains is much better than the pain that comes with gallbladder pain. I have spent many nights awake in pain and once almost passed out from all the pain. Since I went on a very strict diet I have not had an attack yet. I cut out all fat, red meat, sugar, oils, and dairy. I will be getting my gallbladder removed sometime after i fully recover from my c-section.
