Susan G Komen and SunChips Partnership

*Disclaimer - I wrote this post in memory of Sheree Newman Jones, a dear friend of mine who lost her battle with cancer.I received a gift set in exchange for my participation in this campaign.*

I recently teamed up with SunChips to help them promote a very important campaign -Susan G Komen! As you may know this past October was Breast Cancer Awareness month. Those who know me personally know that a close friend of mine lost her life to breast cancer after fighting a five year battle. That is why I fight against breast cancer, that and for every other woman who has passed away, battled, or will battle breast cancer sometime in their life. Breast cancer not only effects the person battling it but also their family, friends, and basically anyone who comes in contact with them. I am pretty sure most all of us at same point in our life has come into contact with someone who's life has been altered by breast cancer.

Breast cancer is not blind, it can happen to any one of us, so it's important that we all work together to help spread awareness.Every year, Susan G Kuman, the worlds largest breast cancer foundation, hosts the Komen Race for a Cure, which helps raise money to fund breast cancer research.  You can join the movement by participating in the annual Fall Komen Race For a Cure. Even though my friend was fighting breast cancer,it did not stop her from running in the annual Race For a Cure, so if she can do it, just about anyone can do it!

Are you aware that there are currently about 3 million breast cancer survivors which is the largest group of cancer survivors in the US.  This really gives those suffering from breast cancer hope!

I like the taste of Sunchips and think that Sunchips has teamed up with the Susan G. Komen fund in the fight against breast Cancer! I think that this is great. It is so true that any women can get breast cancer and they need to make sure to get their yearly mammogram because it saves lives!!

My Hubs eats sunchips quite often. I try not to eat any... or many carbs of any kind.
