***Birthday - Casa Campbell Crafts

Ever since I was introduced to Etsy last year I have fell more and more in love with it!  They offer many different unique hand made items that you cannot find in stores.  I recently came across a lovely Etsy Shop called Casa Campbell Crafts who kindly sent me a set of mini teddy bear soap favors to hand out to guests at my son's 3rd birthday party.  Amie Campbell currently offers a variety of over 70  different soaps,  Christmas items,  scarves,  and miscellaneous items all made by hand.

I received a set of ten Teddy Bear shaped soaps each individually packaged in a beautiful organza bag,  ready to give as favors at my son's 3rd birthday.  The first think I noticed about the soaps when they arrived was the pleasent scent escaping from the packaging- fresh cucumber melon. The yellow colored Teddy Bear Soap Minis fit perfectly in each organza bag. I handed them out to the moms of the little ones as they left and all the guests were pleased with these adorable little soaps.

BUY IT:  This particular style soap is not available at the moment,  but be sure to check her shop regularly because her selection changes often.

Tropical Traditions Soap Set Giveaway

If you are a regular follower of my blog you should be quite familiar with Tropical Traditions by now.  I have reviewed many products from them including Organic Raw Honey,  Glass & Surface Cleaner,  Mint Massage Oil,  Mint Lotion,  and Virgin Coconut Oil.  Today I have yet another wonderful product from Tropical Traditions to introduce you to and it's called Organic Bar Soap.  While I'm usually not much of a fan of bar soaps,  I occasionally like to use them when I run out of liquid soap,  or when I'm just in the mood to use bar soap instead of liquid.  Although,  I do not usually prefer bar soap, I was quite surprised by how well  the Tropical Traditions Organic Bar Soap effectively cleaned my skin and I might just have to think about incorporating more bar soap into my life! :)

Tropical Traditions Organic Bar Soaps come in a variety of scents:
  • Coconut Soap - Unscented
  • Tea Tree
  • Lavender
Tropical Traditions sent me one of each scent to review and then share my experience with my readers(you).  Although I am not much of a fan of unscented products I knew it would be the perfect product for my sons because they all three have very sensitive skin.  I put it to the test and sure enough no breakouts,  irritation,  or rash!  For my sons the Coconut Soap - Unscented is like a miracle soap, it's so hard trying to find a soap that won't break their skin out,  so I am so glad we found Tropical Traditions Organic Bar Soap in unscented!

I really liked the Tea Tree Organic Bar Soap, it smelled pleasant and was not overwhelming like other soap brands.   The lavender scented Organic Bar Soap scent was also very appealing.  The bar soap  lathered very well and left my skin both looking and feeling fresh and clean.  The bar of soap actually seemed to last longer than your typical bar of soap, so you don't have to replace it as fast.  You can order them individually,  in a set of 5,  or in a set of 10,  for your convenience.

BUY IT:   You can currently purchase Tropical Traditions Organic Bar Soap individually for only $5.50.

Beecology

Let me introduce you to a company that is sure to cause lots of buzz,  Beecology!  While shopping on their site you will find an assortment of exceptional line of natural beauty products.  It all started over six year ago when David let a co worker put a bee hive on his family farm, soon he would turn into a beekeeper himself.  He became fascinated with the science and culture of bees, and before he knew it he began researching bees,  and even attending  workshops at an agricultural campus.  After realizing how similar our world is to the bees,  he decided to create natural skincare and hair products using beeswax,  honey,  and other products that are good for not only us,  but the entire world!

Beecology sent me a generous selection of their products including Original Honey Hand & Body Cream,  Buzz Balm,  and three different scented Handcrafted Natural Soaps.  As I opened the box I noticed the pleasing aroma coming from the box,  which I later determined to be coming from the soaps!  You can easily identify this wonderful company by their bee mascot,  that can be found on each one of their products.  The name of their company(Beecology), fits their products to a tee!

Beecology offers 8 exceptional soaps in an assortment of fragrances including:
  1. Hot Chocolate Swirl
  2. Honey Morning Oatmeal Peppermint
  3. Totally Hip Hemp
  4. Honey and Lavender
  5. Tea Tree Oil
  6. Dead Sea Mud
  7. Java Soappuccino Coffee
  8. My Big Fat Greek Yogurt and Honey
Beecology was kind enough to send me three of their soaps to try out. Each one of their soaps are all natural and pure made by hand.  I received the Hot Chocolate Swirl,  Honey Morning Oatmeal Peppermint,  and the My Big Fat Greek Yogurt and Honey.  The Hot Chocolate Swirl Soap featured swirls of chocolate mixed with swirls of goats milk.  The goats milk helps moisturize your skin,  while the cocoa leaves your skin with a mild chocolate scent that is not at all strong, or overpowering.    I was actually surprised by how mellow the scent was,  compared to the other two soaps.  This soap is a limited edition soap that they make especially for Valentine's Day!

I love the name of the "My Big Fat Greek Yogurt and Honey".  I am a quarter Greek myself, and I am a fan of the movie,  So I thought the name of the soap was really relevant to me.  This bar is truly a work of art with whirls of yellow honey running through the white yogurt bar.  The scent isn't at all sweet,  and actually smells really fresh, so you may want to guard it from your husband!  This particular bar of soap contains The Saponified Oils of: Olive,  Palm,  Coconut,  Shea Butter(my favorite), Beeswax,  Yogurt, Honey,  and Juniper Berry Oil.

Why not start your morning out with The Peppermint Morning & Oat Morning Soap!  This fabulous bar of soap will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated,  with it's fresh minty scent of peppermint,  and healing oatmeal soap.  As the oatmeal calms your skin the Shea Butter and Bees Wax helps nourish and condition your skin.  This invigorating all natural soap contains no preservatives and is free of synthetic fragrances.  This scent was my overall favorite out of all three of the soaps!

The Original Honey Hand & Body Cream contains a blend of all natural exotic moisturizers from around the world.  It is not at all greasy and actually rather creamy and soft feeling.  The Original Hand & Body Cream soothes,  relieves and heals all different types of skin, including my entire families!  It is very gentle and does not irritate your skin.  This lotion really helped moisturize my skin and left it feeling silky smooth,  while looking vibrant and healthy. I was not very fond of the scent, but maybe that is because it really does not have much of a scent.  I can't complain though,  because it sure did it's job!  My husband actually likes the scent though and also enjoys using the lotion.

I love their Natural Lip Balm,  which reminded me a lot of Burt's Bees Lip Balm.  It has an invigorating  minty fresh peppermint scent that lasts on your lips quite a while,  so you do not have to continually reapply it.  This product is great to use all season long,  no matter if you are at the snow,  or under the bright sun. I like to keep a tube of it in my purse,  so I can use it any time my lips feel dry.  It really helps my lips stay moisturized and healthy.  Besides these pampering products,  they also offer shampoo,  conditioner,  body wash,  gift baskets,  and even tee shirts printed with their cute little beecology mascot.

BUY IT: You can purchase all of their products on their site.  The Soaps are priced at $5.99 each,  Hand & Body Cream will run you $12.99,  and the Natural Lip Balm is $2.99.

Magic of Aloe

Magic of Aloe is a wonderful brand that offers Skin Care,  Makeup,  Sun Protection,  Spa Products and even First Aid.  They are all natural and never watered down like some of the other brands on the market.  I used there Magic of Aloe Beauty Bar and instantly fell in love with it.   It is a "go green" vegetable based beauty bar that moisturizes and cleans all in one bar.  It eliminates dirt and residue on the body and helps to refresh your skin.  It is gentle enough to use as a facial cleansing bar as well, which i love!
I use the Beauty bar while in my bath tub.  Gently scrub your face and body while in the shower or bath.  Then rinse it off with warm water.  The Beauty Bar can also be used as a daily hand soap.  One of the many great things about this product is that it can be used on all skin types.  I tried this soap as a hand cleanser , facial cleanser and body cleanser and i was extremely satisfied with the quality of this product.  It costs $5 per bar which is well worth the money.  If you are not extremely  satisfied with your purchase you may return the unused portion within thirty days for a full  refund.  Magic of Aloe never tests there products on animals.
