3 Bunny Books

What kind of pet did you have when you were a young child?  I can remember having Chickens,  Cats,  Turtles,  Fish,  Hamster's,  and probably some more that I cannot remember at the moment.  Just think if you grew up without ever owning a pet!  That is what happened to Patsy,  as she came from a hard working farm family,  but her family didn't have the time,  nor the money to afford a pet. That was until the she reached the age of 57,  and received a cute little bunny rabbit from her husband for Easter one year.

Patsy M. Henry then decided to write a book detailing her emotional ride as she learned how to take care of the rabbit.  This true story based book is just one in the series of her rabbit books , which as of now includes three,  but she will soon be adding a fourth book. Each book features pictures of her very own bunny rabbits which makes her wonderful books very unique!  Each book comes with a FREE Audio Book Download.  Below,  you will find all three of her book titles.
  1. My Hare Line - This book is the first published of the series.  The true story starts out by her husband surprising her with a rabbit they decide to name "Bunny Rabbit".  Later on in the story, Bunny Rabbit gains a couple more friends: Jack,  and Flopsey.  When I read the part about her husband finding what he at first thought was a rat I could so relate!  When I was a young girl my little sister and I owned two bunny rabbits,  and one day while checking their cage I noticed a rat,  which I later found out was a baby rabbit!   My children were amazed by the picture of the newborn rabbits,  they were balled and looked so much different than a grown bunny.   One day,  she comes home from work,  only to realize a dog had got into the bunny cages!  Unfortunately four of the little bunnies did not survive,  but fortunately six baby rabbits did survive.
  2. My Hair Line Meets the Brown Rabbit - This is the second book of the series by Patsy M. Henry.  She dedicates this book in memory of Melissa Weaver Donley,  who passed away May 13, 2008 of metastatic squamous cell carcinoma.  This is a cute story about a wild rabbit who finds a new home in the front yard of a big house.  This book brings up topics perfect for children to discuss including the pros and cons that social and economic changes present.
  3. My Hare Line and the Dead Pine Tree - This book is the third of the series by Patsy M. Henry.  This imaginative book is another great read in her line of delightful books.  My children enjoyed this book just as much as the other two books in the series,  but they especially enjoyed the Lullaby at the end of the story.

Patsy M. Henry is the author of the books and writes her story's based on her experiences with her very own bunnies.  She is recently retired after spending twenty-five years in banking and eight years as an office manager.  You can purchase her autographed books on her website, which is http://patsymhenry.tatepublishing.net/  You can also purchase her books directly from her Publisher on Amazon.Com, or at Barnes & Noble Book Store.  All of her books are available in either Paperback of Hardback ranging in price from $10.99-$15.99.

*Disclaimer- Patsy M. Henry sent me three autographed books for review purposes.  In no way did this alter my opinion of their products.  All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true.*
