Beth Manner's Spanish in a Basket

It's important for children to be bilingual because being bilingual means a better future and isnt that what every parent wants for their child!  Are you aware that there are about 28 million Spanish speaking people in this country,  so yes teaching children how to speak Spanish can offer exceptional benefits!

When I recently received a Beth Manner's Spanish in a Basket,  I was super excited because I have been wanting to introduce my children to the Spanish language for quite some time now.  My husband is half Mexican so speaking Spanish would be a great opportunity for my children and mean a lot to my husband even though well,  he doesn't speak spanish,  many of his family members do.

This is what the basket contained:
  • A beautiful picnic basket that can be reused many times.
  • 4 Lesson CD's
  • 1 Lesson DVD
  • Finger Puppets
  • Picnic Toy Foods: Apple,  Orange,  Cheese,  Bread,  Carrot.
  • Fork,  Knife,  Spoon
  • Stuffed Animals: Cat,  Dog,  Rabbit,  Duck,  and Horse
What I love about the product is that it teaches slowly so you can easily catch on while it offers fun songs to keep the children entertained and interested.  Matter of fact I think the songs were their favorite part!  They really like the three bears and the picnic.

I took Spanish in high school for two years so it was nice being able to brush up on my Spanish while helping teach it to my children at the same time.  The CD helps direct children in certian activities such as setting the table and playing restaurant,  using finger puppets and interacting with the stuffed animals.  Overall,  it was very engaging as my children enjoyed the catchy songs and fun activities.

This product was perfect for both my three year old and my eight year old as it is recommended for children ages 3-8 years of age.

BUY IT:  You can purchase a Beth Manner's Spanish in a Basket currently on sale for only $69.20.  It is normally priced at $99.99,  so this is an excellent deal.

*Disclaimer - I received the Beth Manner's Spanish in a Basket,  free of charge,  for review purposes.  In no way did this alter my opinion of their products.  All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true.*

now I really need this. We go to places like Mexico, and the Carribean and I can't speak a lick of Spanish. I had my Granddaughter print me out some spanish words. At the top of the list was Beer. LOL... that was when I could drink beer, not that I drank a lot but when we were on vacation, I would have a beer Cervasa!
