Oral B Stages and Winnie The Pooh Mommy Party!

After being selected for another fantastic party from Mommy Parties we were super excited!  All our Mommy Parties in the past were super fun so we expected the Oral B Stages and Winnie the Pooh party to be just as much fun!  

Here's what each guest went home with:

• Oral-B Stages Toothbrush in either stage 1 or 2 depending upon the age of the child.  The toothbrushes came in an assortment of colors.
• Oral-B Stages Toothpaste in either a Cars theme or Disney Princesses.  Of course the girls received the Disney Princesses and the boys received the Cars themes.  
• Oral-B Stages information packet and coupons to use on Oral B products.
• 1 bottle of Disney Lavender Body Wash
• Packaged in a Guest Gift Bag

We were especially excited to watch the Winnie the Pooh DVD and learn all about Oral B Stages products.  They fit perfectly with our age range of children who ranged in age from 6 months to four years of age, even though there were a few brothers and sisters that attended that were over four they still had a lot of fun too! 

Before the party we blew up each balloon,  so each guest could have their very own Oral-B balloon.  As the guests arrived we had the Winnie the Pooh DVD playing and had them visit a small "Concession Stand" that included popcorn in the cute little popcorn boxes that were provided for the party, Pooh bear honey and peanut butter sandwiches for the older children and baby snacks for the younger babies.  As each guest walked in the door we had my oldest son play usher and collect their "admission tickets" (invites). children all brought their own sleeping bags,  so they could get comfy during the movie. 

After the movie ended we discussed with the guests the importance of brushing your teeth and anual visits to the dentist.  We set up a small area where the children could try out their new Oral-B items as they needed it after enjoying all the goodies from the "Concession Stand".  After a vote,  the children decided that their overall favorite flavor of the toothpaste was the Fruit Burst. After testing out the toothpaste and toothbrushes we played the Oral-B Flashcard game which helped teach them how to maintain healthy dental care and the importance of doing so.  

Overall the party was a huge sucess not to mention a ton of fun!  The kids went home with happy with a huge smile on their face thanks to MomSelect and Oral-B!

Mega Blocks Party - Mommy Parties

I was one of the lucky ones chosen to host a Mega Blocks party and I can't begin to tell you how excited our entire family was!  You see I have two little boys and one older son and they all love to play with blocks,  not to mention all of their family cousins and friends,  so I knew this party would be a huge hit before I ever planned it! 

We started by inviting children aged 1-4 years old by sending out homemade brightly colored block invitations,  that my kids enjoyed making.  The rsvps soon poured in and everyone seemed as anxious as us about the party.  My kids helped my cut out block shapes on colored paper to decorate the walls with,  which really helped get them excited about the party. 

When the day came to host the party we decorated inside with block cutouts and block shaped walking stones(my children helped me make),  leading all the way up to the doorstep outside.  We made a recipe that was included in the party,  Cracker Tower.  We made it by letting the kids stack layers of crackers and cheese on top of each other on a platter.  We also made some peanut butter and jelly sandwich squares for the kids using white chocolate peanut butter.  


As the children arrived they all joined in playing with the blocks.  As soon as all the guests had arrived we decided it was time to participate in an activity inspired by the idea list that was sent with the party.  Each child opened up their bags and assembled a friend and then decorated it with stickers that came in the bag.  It was fun to see all of their neat creations and we let the children all vote on their favorite creation.  The lucky winner received a Mega Blocks Hellicopter that I picked up for only $5.  The other particpants eached received a bag of candy since I didn't want to leave any of the children out. 

Right before the guests left we held the raffle and the lucky winner ended up being one of the little girls,  she was so estatic!  Overall,  the party was a hufe sucess and all of the guests left with a smile on their face.  The adults were very impressed with Mega Blocks and Mommy Parties.  And... we even had a few fathers attend!

FyrFlyz Party

Have you heard of  FyrFlyz  yet?  Well,  I hadnt until I was recently selected to host a mommy party,  and I am so greatful to have had  the opportunity of becoming familar with their toys!  If you havent had a chance to check them out yet,  then your defineintly missing out because let me tell you they are some of the most entertaining toys available and are also extrememly affordable!

By now I bet your wondering exactly what a FyrFlyz toy is,  well let me fill you in.  Basically,  I would have to sum it up as a new generation of yoyo's like the ones back in our day,  but newly innovative designed ones.  You see FyrFlyz toys are precision balanced instruments made to spin on it's axis by swinging the string around and applying tension and slack to keep the axis in motion.  This creates an amazing light show that will be sure to delight people of all ages including adults!

We decited to host our party towards evening time for more of an outdoor light show event.  We invited children around my oldest sons age so they could get the most out of the toys although the younger children had a fun time trying to figure them out,  and watching the light show of course. My son's helped me make fresh Lemonaid from a recipe I was sent with the party.  Since it was an outdoor event we decided to BBQ some hot dogs for the kids to go along with the lemonaid,  so I let my husband hold the grill down while I helped the children with their toys.


First,  I displayed a couple of tricks before handing them out so they could get a good feel for how to use them.  Aferward my son helped me pass them out to the guests at the party.  Right off the bat,  the kids had fun playing with their FyrFlyz toys and watching each other.  The longer they played with them the more tricks they were able to learn and teach each other. We played a game where the person with the best made up trick would win a prize.  We let the children be the judges and they ended up selecting the child that did a ton of tricks.  I couldnt believe how fast he was able to pick up on all tricks,  although the other kids all did a great job as well.   I was surprised by how many of the adults actually joined in playing with them.  To be honest they were a hit with the kids and the adults!

FyrFlyz toys would make an excellent stocking stuffer this Christmas or even gift!  Besides that they are perfect for camping trips, evening barbeques, and basically any night time activities.  I would have never imagined such an affordable toy could create so much fun and entertainment as it has for my children, their friends, and even the adults!
