Sensational Sweets generously provided me with a yummy assortment of goodies to share with my son's guests at his 3rd birthday party.  For the party we received 9 Pretzel Rods,  one dozen small bags of Chocolate Drizzled Popcorn,  1 large bag of drizzled popcorn,  and 3 Let's Celebrate Birthday Cakes.  I was amazed when I saw the huge box followed by a smaller box and as soon as I opened it I was even more amazed.  The items all looked nicely packaged and seemed to be of nice quality.  I would soon discover just how high quality they were!

At the party we placed the 9 Pretzel Rods on one of the treat tables,   and the  Drizzled Popcorn on the other treat table. The Pretzel Rods were wrapped in clear plastic and tied with a pretty little bow,  perfect for a party treat or favor although we let guests help themselves to them as they pleased.  We handed out the bags of Drizzled Popcorn to the adults shortly before the party ended but it just so happened that the guests couldnt help themselves so many of them tore into their popcorn before they left.  By the time they had left their bags ended up empty!  A couple of the guests raved that it was the best popcorn they have ever ate.  Another one told me that they don't usually care to much for chocolate but they loved it on the popcorn.  Overall,  I thought it was very tasty but it should come with a warning sign - once you eat one you can't stop!

Although,  I didn't get a chance to make the cakes for the party I sure put them to use.  I handed out a couple of them as favors and saved the other one to make on his actual birthday since we hosted his party a week ahead of time.  It worked out very well because other than the Let's Celebrate Cake we would have been cakeless on his actual birthday.  I let my kids help my make the cake and it actually provided us with a very fun and tasty experience. 

The Let's Celebrate Celebration Cake contains everything you need for a mini birthday cake.  I guess I should also mention that it is the easiest cake I have ever made in my life!  This kit contains a cake mix, frosting mix, cup to mix the frosting in and add the water with, a mini spoon, balloon,  sprinkles, blowout,  and even a candle!

We emptied out the cake mix into the container and began stirring it with the small plastic spoon inluded in the kit.  After a couple minutes when all the lumps were out we placed it in the microwave for  1 minute,  yes only one minute!  While the cake was cooling,  we combined the icing mix with a few teaspoons of water using the small spoon and stirred it up in the small cup that was included.  Within about five minutes the cake was cool and ready to ice, so we poured the icing on top and used the spoon to smooth it over.  We sprinkled the yellow sprinkles on top and topped it off with a blowout and a candle. We lit the candle and all sang "Happy Birthday" to my son while he blew out the candle.  After he was able to play with the blowout and balloon that was included in the kit.

Although,  they offer many different fun shaped tins I decided upon the Small Snip-Snap Tin.  You will be given an option of which candy you would like your tin filled with-mints,  Jelly Bellys,  or M&M's.  I chose to fill them with Mints because I thought they would make a perfect treat for the adults at the party because afterall adults like favors too!   Next,  I was able to costumize my favor tin with an image of my own although you may choose to use clip art,  if desired. 



You will see how the image you uploaded will look on your favor and you may adjust it according to your preference.  You may also choose to add a text,  although I chose not to because I didn't want it to take away from my photo.  Since the favors were for my son's birthday I used one of my favorite photos of him to display on the lid of the favor box.  In all,  I was able to order 7 favors which included shipping and handling for just a little under $25. 

I couldn't be more pleased with my personalized favors from party beans!  The image of my son on top of each lid was very clear and really personalized the favors.   I knew they would be a huge hit with my guests and they sure were!  The only problem I had was that everyone wanted one but I didnt have enough to go around so we gave them the grandparents and parents seniority over the favors.

LIfe's Little Favors

For my son's 3rd birthday party I was in search of Mini Gumball Machine Favors to hand out at the party.  I thought they would make a great fit with our "Candy Landy" theme and they sure did!  After looking around for a while I was able to find them at a lovely online site called Lifes Little Favors.  Even though they may be called "Lifes Little Favors",  I call them huge favors!

Life's Little Favors was kind enough to provide me with a dozen mini gumball machine favors to hand out to the children at the party as favors. Upon arrival I was very suprised by how closely they resemble an actual gumball machine,  only smaller-  "2 1/2 x 5" to be exact.   And they are not just any gumball machines,  they are Double Bubble mini gumball machines.  Each favor includes a clear globe decorated with the "Double Bubble" logo, which sits on a classic red base with a silver colored crank.  Inside each mini gumball machine you will find 50 grams of brightly colored Double Bubble brand gumballs.

We set the mini gumball machine favors on our candy buffet table,  which made a great decoration during the party for our "Candy Land" theme.  The only problem was all the children wanted their favor ahead of time.  Needless to say we passed them all out before the kids left because they were so excited about receiving them.  To dispense the candy they simply turned the silver colored crank and out came a Double Bubble gumball.  Each mini gumball machine favor came with a "For You" tag attached,  so I  wrote "Thanks for Coming" on the back side of the tag.  Overall the mini gumball machine favors were a huge hit at the party and each kid went home happy.

yoyo lipgloss **CLOSED**

I love lipglosses,  but some how it seems like I am constantly loosing them.  I finally found a solution to the product,  and it's called YOYO Lipgloss!  They are unique in the fact that they are actually a retractable lip care item.  They come with a clip,  so you can clip them to basically anything,  and they definently won't get lost.  Young girls will appreciate the interchangeable colored clips.  The clips also are color coordianted with the mini lip glosses.
