For this review My Fairy Tale Books was kind enough to let me select a book of my choice.  I so wanted to chose one of their baby books, but since I am unsure of the gender of my unborn baby I decided to hold off on that review until a later date.  I browsed their selection of books until I came across the My Fishing Adventure book,  and immediatly knew it would be perfect for my oldest son who is eight years old.

Basically,  the book is super easy to personalize because you provide My Fairy Tale Books with the information and they do all the work for you.  I provided my son's full name,  age, gender, hometown of and fishing location.  I also provided the name of his fishing buddy which of course is "Grandpa" and three other relatives names - Daddy, and his two younger brothers.

The book is super sweet and tells the cutest little story.  The book features my son as the main character,  and grandpa as his main fishing buddy.  Of course,  you will also find Daddy and brothers somewhere in the book too!  This book is about a young bear who dreamed of winning a fishing competition.  It was neat to see their fishing location in the book and my son really got a kick out of it.  We left the book at his grandparents so they can read it to him when he spends the night.  And of course, grandpa really enjoys the book too,  since he does have a costar in the book!

Build-A-Head

What originally started as an idea by a group of friends eventually emerged into a reality in 2009 when they introduced their products when Lance Armstrong came to town.  The appearance stirred up lots of excitement with the locals,  so Build-A-Head decided to introduce their products to the locals by coming out with a Lance Armstrong Build-A-Head.  Even Lance Armstrong himself wanted one and later posed with it in a picture that can be found in his new book, Comeback:2.0.

Build-A-Head offers many fun products including:

• T-Shirts
• Dog Tags
• Keychains
• Slims
• Minis
• Original

I was lucky enough to receive three keychains from Build-A-Head to review.  I was especially excited because I was able to receive one of each of my boys so in all I received three of the cutest little keychains ever!  I was extremely impressed by how clear the images turned out.  All three of the keychains are now hanging on my keychain which comes in handy when I run into people that I havent seen in a while.  Just the other day I was grocery shopping when I saw an old friend who happened to ask about my children and guess what?  I pulled out the keychains and was able to show them off even though I didn't have my photos with me!

Build-A-Head Keychains would make a perfect gift for basically any teenager or adult and an inexpensive one at that.  And for pet lovers you could always make them a keychain with their favorite pet on it.

BUY IT: You can purchase a Build-A-Head Keychain for only $5.99.

*** Birthday - Send A Frizbee

A frisbee is a frisbee,  right?  Not when you personlize it with a name and message and send it in the mail.  And when I say send it in the mail,  I dont mean in a box or package,  I mean plain outright shipping the frisbee itself!  That's right,  the frisbee is addressed on  a shipping label that is stuck to the back of the frisbee.  The front of the frisbee reads a message and can even be personalized with a name.

sendafrizbee.com is the unique site that personalizes and ships the cusotmized freebies to the lucky recipients.  The best part is that you get all the credit for it!  You would be surprised by just how happy someone will get just by receiving a customized frisbee in the mail,  I know my little man sure was!  Not only can you send it as a gift you can also choose to send them as invititations.  Imagine how impressed and excited guests would be to receive a frisbee invitiation in the mail.

Frisbee gram, s unlike greeting cards,  will definently not be thrown away.  They provide fully removable labels,  so they will be able to be used afterward and nobody will be able to tell that they were ever shipped in the mail.  If you would like to inlcude your very own image or logo,  no problem,  just simply send them your image and it will be printed on the Frisbee.  Now,  if that isnt awesome,  I don't know what is!  Besides that you will also be able to choose which color frisbee you would like it printed on.

We were sent a Frisbee that read "Happy Birthday ****(Name) From Mommy and Daddy".  My son loved receiving the frisbee instead of the regular greeting type of card the we usually give him.  We started out using it as a decoration at the party,  but before the party was over,  the older children took it outside to play with.  So,  not only was it a decoration,  but also a great activity for the party!  The frisbee received a lot of postive feedback from all the guests and was a big hit at the party.  I would reccomend it for any big occaasion or birthday party,  both for a gift and for invitations.   So, what are you waiting for?   Head on over to SendaFrizbee.com and create your special frisbee today!

BUY IT:  You can purchase a Send a Frizbee for only $9.99 on www.sendafrizbee.com.

*Disclaimer - Send A Frizbee provided me with a personalized Frizbee,  free of charge,  for review purposes.  In no way did this alter my opinon of their products.  All of my opinons are one hundred percent honest and true.*

***BIRTHDAY Party Beans

If you want fun Personalized Favors at your next party that can be eaten,  check out partybeans.com.  While shopping on party beans you will be able to create personalized gifts and themed party favors beginning at only $1.99.  Unlike many other favor sites,  party beans offers no minimum purchases so you can buy as little as only one or as many as 50 or more.   You may want to buy more though because the more you purchase the more you save!

party beans offers favors for many different occasions including:

• Anniversary
• Baby Showers
• Birthdays
• Bridal Showers
• Graduation
• Baby Boy
• Baby Girl
• And Halloween.

Party beans generously provided me with a $25 Gift Card to get a good feel of both their ordering process and site.  I must say,   creating my order was a lot of fun.  You start by selecting a container for your candy. Although,  they offer many different fun shaped tins I decided upon the Small Snip-Snap Tin.  You will be given an option of which candy you would like your tin filled with-mints,  Jelly Bellys,  or M&M's.  I chose to fill them with Mints because I thought they would make a perfect treat for the adults at the party because afterall adults like favors too!   Next,  I was able to costumize my favor tin with an image of my own although you may choose to use clip art,  if desired.

You will see how the image you uploaded will look on your favor and you may adjust it according to your preference.  You may also choose to add a text,  although I chose not to because I didn't want it to take away from my photo.  Since the favors were for my son's birthday I used one of my favorite photos of him to display on the lid of the favor box.  In all,  I was able to order 7 favors which included shipping and handling for just a little under $25.

I couldn't be more pleased with my personalized favors from party beans!  The image of my son on top of each lid was very clear and really personalized the favors.   I knew they would be a huge hit with my guests and they sure were!  The only problem I had was that everyone wanted one but I didnt have enough to go around so we gave them the grandparents and parents seniority over the favors.

Check it out!~

Here's the photo I cropped to use on the Tins.

Here is what the finished result looked like(Minus the glare of my flash of course)!

BUY IT:  The price varies upon the amount you purchase.               1 / $3.99, 2-5 / $3.49,  6-24/$2.99,  25-49/$2.29,  50+/$1.99.

Mixbook

MIXBOOK

Let me introduce you to my favorite site to create photo books,  cards,  and calendars on the web,  called Mixbook.   From my experience,  they offer some of the most superior quality customizable photo books and cards available.  You may or may not remember, but in August of this year I had the wonderful gift of reviewing one of their photo books.  If you haven't read the review I did for one of their "Red Plaid" themed photo books,  you can check it out here.  Mixbook truly stands out from other similar sites on the net and offers something unique that many others do not.

What Mixbook offers that many of it's competitors do not is that they allow you to create your very own layouts and designs.  Many times photo book sites only offer templates,  but when using  Mixbook the possibilities are endless!  I loved their photo book so much that I was thrilled to have an opportunity to work with them again,  but this time on a Photo Cards  review. I knew if I liked it just half as much as I liked their photo books I would be pleased and lets just say they didn't disappoint.  As a member of Tomoson I was selected to work with them on a card review so let me tell you a little bit about creating cards on Mixbook.

Just like creating the photo book,  creating a card was super easy,  and not at all confusing.  I started by selecting which type of card I wanted to create,  overall they offer 7 different categories:

• Birth Announcements - No matter what type of birth announcement your in search of they offer it!  You will find Girls,  Boys,  Photo,  Twins,  and even adoption announcements.
• Holiday Cards - No matter if your in search of Valentines Day Cards or Christmas Cards they offer it!  Looking for 4th of July Cards,  well they offer those too!
• Baby Shower Invitations - You will find Girls and Boy's Baby Shower Invitations along with Thank You cards too.
• Wedding Stationary - From Wedding Invitations to Rehearsal Dinner Invitations and everything in between,  you will find it on Mixbook!
• Custom Party Invitations- You will find Girl's and Boy's Birthday Party Invitations,  along with Thank You Cards.
• Custom Stationary - In this section you will find Mother's Day Cards,  Father's Day Cards,  and even Moving Announcements.

Although I wanted to create some Christmas Cards,  at the moment I do not really have a recent family photo of all of us together,  so I decided to go with some Invitations.  My two year old will soon be turning the big 3,  so I thought it would be perfect to order him some personalized invitations.  I searched through 53 fully customizable designs including designs such as "Sweet Scoops",  "Cool Cupcake",  and Space Alien Party.  I ended up choosing the "All Boxed Up - Blue" because it is basically versatile and will match with just about any theme.  Besides that,  I love the way it is designed with a large photo covering most of the invitation and then the birthday party information listed in boxes on the side of the invitation.

The "All Boxed Up - Blue" comes in six different sizes ranging in size from 4 x 6 - 5 x 7.  For this review I was able to select the 5 x 7 size,  which to me is the perfect size.  Next,  you will be able to personalize your invitation with your selected photo.  It took me a while before choosing this picture to customize it with...

After selecting the photo I was able to customize my information for the party including his name, date of the party,  address,  and RSVP information. I chose not to,  but Mixbook  allows you to change the background and add stickers so you can personalize it perfectly to fit you.   Mixbook also allows you  to preview the invitations,  so I knew exactly how it would look,  and then when I was happy with my creation I submitted it for shipment.  The process was extremely easy and took only minutes.

When I received the thirty invitations I was pleased that they also included the envelopes,  so everything was ready to seal and send(or hand out).  The image was bright and the invitations looked even better than I expected!  I have already handed out a few and even though one person is going on a trip that week they still asked me to get one because they were so impressed with the cute little photo on it.  I can't wait to start handing them out and see the reaction from the recipients.  I know they will be just as impressed as I am!

The invitations are not just some old invitation that you will throw out,  Mixbook invitations can be cherished for years.  I am certainly going to use one on one of my scrap book pages.  Speaking of,   Mixbook also offers a Scrapbook that you can create.  This is great for people that do not have the time to make a regular scrapbook and the great thing is that it comes out looking extremely professional.  Mixbook Invitations and products will certainly put a smile on the recipients face,  so why not create your next invitations or photo book at Mixbook!

Learn More:  To learn more visit Mixbook on their website,  connect with them on Facebook,  and follow them on Twitter.

With Christmas coming soon it would be a good idea to head on over to Mixbook and create some personalized Christmas Cards.  They offer a broad selection of designs inlcuding flat cards, folding cards, and even ornament shaped cards!  You will find a huge ammount of templates - all fully customizable to your needs and demands.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Better than Fantastic...INKtastic!

While recently browsing the web I stumbled upon this awesome site called Inktastic.com.  It is a truly unique online store  because they offer tee shirts and apparel, that can be customized with your favorite photos,  or you can use their online tool to create personalized designs.  If you choose to browse their designs you will have the option of choosing from hundreds of images and sayings including:  Holidays and Occasions,  Ocean and Beach,  Food and Drinks,  and a bunch of other categories.  If you choose to design your own you will be able to choose from many different items,  and then be able to upload your images onto the product.  This happens to be the option that I chose.

First,  I browsed through products after products that could easily be designed with my own personal images.  I had my choice of ten different categories which included:  Baby,  Junior's,  Gifts & Accessories,  Intimates,  Toddler,  Mens,  Stuffed Animals,  Youth,  Women's,  and Pet's.  Throughout the categories I found items such as Aprons,  Clocks,  Tee-Shirts,  and even panties!  As soon as I saw the Stuffed Animal Category I knew I had to check it out.  Once I clicked on the Stuffed Animals section, about eight different stuffed animals popped up.

While they were all very cute,  I instantly fell in love with the Blue Jumbo Plush Teddy Bear!  This plush bear comes with sheer floral ribbon tied around the teddy bears neck and measures 21 inches tall.  I was surprised by the actual size of this teddy bear!  I have always seen the little tiny teddy bears at Walmart with the printed shirts and I always wanted to order one and never got around to it.  I am so glad that I never ordered it from Walmart,  because Inktastics Stuffed Animals offer a lot more quality than the Walmart Bears do.  They are also very reasonably priced at only $17.99 to $26.99, depending upon which Stuffed Animal style that you choose.  All of their Stuffed Animals are currently on sale.

The Blue Jumbo Plush Teddy Bear is currently on sale for only $26.99,  which was marked down from $32.99.   In order to purchase the bear I had to go through a few easy steps.  First I started out by choosing the color which in my case is Blue for a boy!  I would love to be able to choose the Pink one, but haven't been blessed with a girl yet,  so because I have three boys-the Blue was perfect for me.  Next,   I uploaded an image of my three children,  from my computer.

You may choose to upload an image from the gallery,  if you would like.  Then I added my own custom text which read "Our Three Sons",  which went directly beneath the picture printed on the Stuffed Animals Tee-Shirt.  I had my choice of Font,  Size,  and Color.   Lastly I pressed create product and was able to preview the final product.  This is a great option because it gives you a look at your product before your order is finalized.  This way you can go back and change something if you would like.

When I received the bear I had just got home and it was raining.  It was placed over my gate and I was concerned that it may have got rained on, being that it was packaged in a shipping bag.  I opened the bag up to find the bear in perfect condition.  Not only was the bear super soft,  but also super cute!    With a light blue plush body and a adorable little ribbon tied on its neck,  who wouldn't love it!  Not to mention the cute little picture of my three sons on it's tee-shirt.  While I am sure my children would love to play with this bear,  I have decided to keep it for them as a keepsake.   We will treasure it forever!

Artiwood Letters **Closed**

I recently found a great site called Artiwood Letters,  who manufacturers and designs personalized painted wooden letters that spell out names and words.  Artiwood Letters is an Australian based Eco friendly   wooden toy company.  Artiwood Letters make a perfect gift for both girls and boys and offer them a unique experience.  Children will love seeing their name on their Wall,  Toy Box or wherever else they may want their name displayed.  I wish i could have had my name personalized on my wall when i was younger but at least my children can enjoy it in their times.

Artiwood gave me the opportunity to review one set of names(up to 8 letters)so i went ahead and ordered Zane and Jr.  My middle sons name is Zane and we call my youngest son Jr. so there was plenty of letters to make both of their names!
To begin i chose from  5 different themes:

1.  Wooden Animal Letters
2. Wooden Fairy Letters
3. Wooden Dinosaur Letters
4. Wooden Dolphin Letters
5. Wooden Koala Letters

I decided to go with the "Dinosaur" theme as my kids like dinosaurs,  but i  love the "Fairy" theme for little girls!  I thought that the "Dolphin" theme would be perfect for Children that are interested in Dolphins.  My sister would have loved these when she was little,  because she was really into the dolphin theme.  I loved the overall look of the Dinosaur themed wooden painted letters.  Their web site is really cool because it is interactive which means you can actually type in your name that you would like to see and it instantly shows you how your name would look printed in their wooden letters !  It was actually a lot of fun to use and provided me with a unique experience.

As soon as my package arrived i immediately opened the package and arranged my seven letters in order spelling out "Zane"and "Jr."  I noticed that the bright, bold  colors on the letters really grabbed my attention!  The following day i was so excited that i did not waist any time...i got right to putting their names up!  It wasn't a hard choice to chose where to put them because i knew i wanted them to hang them above their closet , even though they can be placed many places in the house.  It took a while getting everything measured so i would know exactly where to place them but as soon as i placed them on their walls it was so simple.

Each of their wooden letters includes a self adhesive patch on the back so they can  stick to any surface.  I had a little trouble pulling the backing from the letters.  As soon as i pulled the cardbaord backing from the letters,  part of the adhesive attatched to them and wripped off!  Be very careful when pulling the cardboard backing off.  I actually reccommend buying some extra backing to use on the letters.

This way when the backing gets old you will still have new adhesive strips to go on them. The letters went up in no time flat and really personalized my sons room.  Child safe paint is used to paint each letter that is made from non endangered and renewable timber.  The letters cost only $3.95 each  and measures H 3.5" x W 3" x B 0.25". (H 10cm x W 8cm x B 0.6cm.  Artiwood Letters offer a cute poem for each theme of Letters.  Here is the Wooden Dinosaur Letters Poem:

Dinosaur Letters

Dinosaur letters can spell out “Jurassic Park”
And I wouldn’t go there alone after dark
They hide behind trees and skulk in big bushes
It would make my belly flip and gives me hot flushes

Yet Dinosaurs are cool - And a little bit scary
So if you are TOO frightened – then go buy an Artiwood Fairy

The Painted Wooden Letters looks fabulous on my kids walls and really personalizes their room.  It also helps them recognize and spell their name by having a constant visual of their name on their wall.  If you are giving your order as a gift Artiwood Letters will include a colorful sheet with your personalized greeting or messages on it.  The artiwood letters have now  become the conversation piece for my sons room!  I am very pleased with their quality and over all design.  The letters really brought life to my kids room!
