If your family is anything like mine, you enjoy curling up on the cold days and watching movies together as a family.  Some of our favorite movies to watch during the holidays are ones that really set the mood for Christmas!  That is why we were very excited to receive ICE AGE: A MAMMOTH CHRISTMAS on Blu-ray & DVD combo pack.

Looking for a mammoth of a good time?  Then you should definetly pick up Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas Special on single disc DVD or Blu-ray + Digital copy pack. America's favorite herd of animals returns in an all new movie that your entire family will enjoy!

While busy decorating for the holiday season Sid(John Leguizamo) accidently ends up destroying Manny's (Ray Romano) favorite decoration(a Christmas rock that had been passed down from generation to generation).  Manny makes Sid believe he is on Santa's naughty list and will not get Christmas which highly dissapoints Sid. After Peaches convinces him to go to the North Pole to discuss it with Santa-  Sid, Peach, Crash, and Eddie all set out to follow the northern lights all the way to Santas house in the North Pole!  In the mean time Manny,  Ellie,  and Diego become worried about the whereabouts of Peaches and set out to find her.

Along the way they end up meeting some interesting characters including a flying reindeer,  and an army of mini sloths who resemble little elves. Their meeting with Santa doesnt end up going as they planned and Sid and his crew accidently end up destroying Santa's workshop on Christmas Eve which ends up threatening Christmas for everyone! 

OUR THOUGHTS:

Our family definitely had a mammoth of a good time while watching Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas.  My children are big fans of Ice Age so I knew they would love it before we ever received it.  We loved the cute  characters along with the innocently fun story line.  All three of my children enjoyed watching it including my oldest who is eight and my youngest who is 20 months old.  Not to mention my husband and I because it contained plenty of humor that made us lol!  It may only be twenty give minutes long but since we have plenty of movies to watch during the holidays it seems like the perfect length.

I think this movie would make a great Christmas gift of stocking stuffer for just about any child!
