I hope everyone had as an amazing Christmas as our family!  We spent our Christmas Eve and Christmas with family(lots of family),  eating food(lots of that too),  and even celebrated our oldest sons 8th birthday! Of course the thing I enjoyed most was spending time together during the holidays,  but second on the list is all the gifts I received this year...my husband so spoiled me! :)  And the kids weren't left out either,  by the time they had opened all their gifts they were basically swimming in them!

After Peaches convinces him to go to the North Pole to discuss it with Santa-  Sid, Peach, Crash, and Eddie all set out to follow the northern lights all the way to Santas house in the North Pole!  In the mean time Manny,  Ellie,  and Diego become worried about the whereabouts of Peaches and set out to find her.

Along the way they end up meeting some interesting characters including a flying reindeer,  and an army of mini sloths who resemble little elves. Their meeting with Santa doesnt end up going as they planned and Sid and his crew accidently end up destroying Santa's workshop on Christmas Eve which ends up threatening Christmas for everyone! 

OUR THOUGHTS:

Our family definitely had a mammoth of a good time while watching Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas.  My children are big fans of Ice Age so I knew they would love it before we ever received it.  We loved the cute  characters along with the innocently fun story line.  All three of my children enjoyed watching it including my oldest who is eight and my youngest who is 20 months old.  Not to mention my husband and I because it contained plenty of humor that made us lol!  It may only be twenty give minutes long but since we have plenty of movies to watch during the holidays it seems like the perfect length.

I think this movie would make a great Christmas gift of stocking stuffer for just about any child!

Holidays, Get Togethers, Viruses and Lack of Posts Lately...

Well...sorry for the lack of posts but our family was struck with a bug then another bug and then the holidays and you know how that goes!  Spent a lot of time wrapping gifts,  shopping, baking and going to get togethers and Birthday parties!  My sons Birthday is on Christmas and a couple of other birthdays in the family!  We spent Christmas Eve at my sisters house and then went to a get together at my in laws that was fabulous!  There food was out of this world!  I just love soul food and i dont always get the chance to eat homemade soul food so when the chance arrises i take it for sure!  It's always nice to visit with the inlaws and neices and nephews that i rarely see too! My kids opened their gifts on Christmas morning and then we spent the day at a get together at my parents house.  We also celebrated my sons party and had a cupcake cake for him.  I will soon be posting some reviews and even a couple more giveaways.  I did not get my Christmas tree up this year so excuse the little tree...hahaha!

Walmart Cheap Holiday Gifts

While i was shopping at Walmart the other day i noticed that they already have some of their Holiday items out.  I searched through the Aile's looking for a few cheap gifts and it wasn't long until i found some.  Walmart is one of my favorite places to go Christmas shopping at.  They basically have something for everyone so i can get something for everyone in my family at one place!  They have great deals on gift sets ranging in price from about $3.00 - $25.00.  I do have to say that they offer a lot more gifts for women then they do men.  Here are some of the bargains that i found:

At a dollar a piece you cant beat it!  I instantly fell in love with these Popsicle soaps!  I have seen them once or twice on the Internet before but these are a steal at only $1.00 each!  They come in different colors and scents too.  These make great stocking stuffers,  party favors,  or gifts.  These adorable Popsicle soaps can be found in Walmart's Holiday aisle.  Besides Orange and Cherry they also offer Strawberry and Grape.

Another deal i found for only $1.00 is the Holly Jolly Shampoo,  Body Wash, and Bubble Bath all in one!  Besides the fact that it is three products in one it smells great too!  Girls will love its adorable packaging with the Angel and Holly on it.  Not only will girls like it but i am sure there mothers will like it too!  I bought one to give away as a gift but it smelled so good i decided to keep it for myself instead. 

While in the Holiday decorating aisle i came across this beautiful butterfly ornament.  I decided to purchase it for my mother.  She loves holiday decorations and i am sure she will love this one too!  It's price was extremely reasonable at only $2.00 each.  They also have a wide variety of decorations in this color.  Silver decorations and gold are also available.  This ornament will fantastic on the Christmas Tree.
