Back when I first got with my husband (which at the time was my boyfriend) he bought me a huge stuffed teddy bear for Valentine's Day, and I still have it setting on top of my chester drawers to this very day! It's a very sentimental item of mine because it represents our first Valentine's Day together and I plan on keeping it, well...probably forever. You probably guessed this already, but yep it's my favorite Valentine's Day gift that I ever received for him because it is very special to me.
Stuffed animals are classic Valentine's Day gifts because they are cuddly and adorable and who could resist something like that! But they are not just any stuffed animals, these ones sing, dance, and in some cases even light up! The songs they sing coordinate to the style of the stuffed animal and I have to say this makes them truly unique. Each plush has it's very own personality, which makes them even more unique.
I received a box full of three different stuffed animals and I couldn't have been more excited, at least that is what I though until I met the first plush! Open first glance it just looked like a regular stuffed animal(very cute but just a stuffed animal), but that was until I saw just exactly what it could do! The adorably cute beaver is dressed in a red sweater, a cap on tilted to the side, and holds a microphone in one hand. I noticed a "Press Here" tag on his foot, so I pressed down on it and that's when he started performing! As he sang the "Baby" song by Justin Bieber he opened his mouth to make it looks like he was singing. My two youngest and I sat around it watching as it sang the song like we were actually at a concert or something. The song lasted quite a while and I was very surprised by it's performance. The Beaver would make a perfect gift for any child or Justin Bieber fan.
After trying out the first one we were very excited to try out the other two and we expected just as much out of the other two. Next we pulled out the bear in a box. It is a light tan colored bear thats popping out of a light brown box, complete with a red bow at the top of the box and shipping stamps. As you press the "Press Here" on its hand it begins to sing the song "Sign, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours" by the ever so famous Stevie Wonder. I grew up on oldies and motown so this is definitely a favorite of mine. As the bear sang, his mouth move and so did his feet and his head even swayed to the music! As soon as it was over my three year old yelled "I Love It" and I felt the same way!
Last but not least we pulled out another bear but this bear was holding a honey comb that seemed to have a little propeller at the top, and was decorated with a red bow with little white hearts on it. As we pushed it's foot it began to sing "Sugar Sugar, another one of my all time favorites! As it sang it's mouth opened, it bobbed his head to the music and best yet the propeller was actually a little led fan which read cute little sayings such as "Bee Mine" and "I Love You". I thought the LED ligted fan was such a cute touch and really set this one off from the rest.
Out of all the three I can't really say that I have a favorite because I liked them all so much, it's hard to choose just one! These were all so neat that I can only imagine how neat the rest of their plush are too! Each of the Cuddle Barn stuffed animals put a smile on our face and I am sure they will put one on yours as well! Recently, the world faced a gigantic animal baby boom that had storks flying willy-nilly to take zillions of newborns to their parents. Earnest storks were doing their best to keep it all together, but the workload was just too much. Then wouldn’t you know it, lo and behold, CRASH #1! BOOM! Then CRASH #2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and so on. Still trying valiantly to cradle their precious cargo, stork after stork crashed into one other. Feathers flew everywhere as the storks and the babies fell from the sky. What to do?
The storks quickly regrouped. Surveying the aftermath of their multiple collisions and to their amazement, they found thousands of baby animals all jumbled up in what could only be considered a new breed. Zebras and elephants became ZELEPHANTS! Giraffes and buffaloes became GIRAFFALOES! They called them JUMBIES, each and every one of them a star. Since it wasn’t clear where the little ones were supposed to go, the storks scooped them up and flew off to a beautiful island they called JUMBIELAND.
Jumbies was kind enough to provide me with two jumbies to review, so I chose Tyramosaur and HorseFly.
Tyramosaur is the result of mixing a Tyrannosaurus Rex with a Ram to create a spontaneous, engergetic, animal by the name of Warner. Just like my children, he loves hamburgers and macaroni and cheese. He loves to play and explore Jumbieland with his favorite pal Zumbo the Zelephant. He is the largest of all the Jumbies in Jumbieland standing at 7 1/2" tall. My children loves his bright blue colored body with his big yellow ram horns.
HorseFly is the result of mixing a Horse with a Butterfly to create a free spirited, always on the go, hyper animal by the name of Kloie. She enjoys blueberries anc chocolate just like me! When she is excited you will know by her shrill scream she lets out to know you are paying attention to her, and with her adorable features how could you not pay attention to her! Kloie is Tan with Black hooves and brightly colored butterfly wings. She stands 5 1/2" tall and makes the perfect Jumbie for any child, especially little girls!

I am sure you have all heard of Build-A-Bear Workshop, but have you visited their store yet? Build- A -Bear Workshop is one of those type of stores that you could have only dreamed of as a child! I have been a fan of Build-A-Bear since I was a teenager when I first visited their store. Yes, I may have been a little on the old side, but who could resist such cute little stuffed animals. As I got older and had children I was able to introduce them to Build-A-Bear Workshop and let them enjoy the innocent yet fun experience of this exciting store!
Recently for my son's 3rd birthday we took him to get birthday photos so while we were there we thought it would be a great idea to let him build a stuffed animal at Build-A-Bear. As we arrived in front of the store his face lit up with excitement. As soon as we walked in the store we saw big barrels filled with plush animal skins. I let my son take his pick and wouldn't you know of all the choices he chooses the only one that is already stuffed - Gingerbread Man! After trying to get him to change his mind a friendly worker let me know that he could actually still stuff it. I guess you could call it "customized stuffing" because you can stuff it with more or less depending on what you wish.
My son decided he wanted more stuffing so the kind lady let him help by standing on the lever. He was then able to choose a heart to place inside the plush. After choosing his heart he put it on his nose, put it on his heart, kissed it, and wished on it before placing it in his special gingerbread man. As soon as it was stuffed to his perfection we headed on over to the Build-A-Bear bath tub. He used the scrubby to scrub his little gingerbread man and get all the little unwanted fuzzies off of him. What a cute experience that was and he really enjoyed it!
After this step you may want to purchase an outfit to fit on your Build-A-Bear, or maybe even a wardrobe. Although they have the cutest little clothes and accessories available for purchase we decided to come back another day to go "clothes shopping". We headed on over to the birth certificate station where my son was able to create a birthcertificate for his plush. It took him quite a while decided what to name him but ended up choosing "Gingerbread Boy". Too cute,huh! I thought "Ginger" would be a a cute name for the gingerbread girl plush that is also available at Build-A-Bear Workshops.

I am sure everyone know what today is, one of my kids favorite time of the year(well besides Christmas and their birthdays)! Bram Poke-her is full of amazing detail from his two fangs to his removable chain necklace. He sports a nifty trench coat jacket complete with pockets, and his hands come postioned in a high five postion.

A month ago if I was asked what Vamplets are I wouldn't have the slightest clue! Ask me that today and I would tell you they are some of the cutest little monsters I have ever laid my eyes on, only problem is they may have their eyes on me! With pointy ears, blood shot eyes, sporting bats and spiders in their hair, they are definitely not your average stuffed animal! Feed your vampire addiction with these evil little baby Vamplets, but beware they are blood thirsty and need to be fed their bottle of blood often, or they might get hungry, too hungry if you know what I mean!

As soon as my Vamplet arrived I couldn't wait to open it up to see which Vamplet they sent me. As soon as I opened the box, this is what I found:
Believe it or not it is a "undeath" certificate which included a cute little button attached that reads "Got Blood?". As soon as I read the undeath certificate I knew to expect an heinous little creature... I just didn't have a clue how cute it was going to be! After I lifted up the light pink tissue paper and the undeath certificate I found a wicked little Vamplet named Mindnight Mori staring at me with green rings around her red blood shot eyes. She came packaged in a cute little coffin box perfect for storing your mischievous little Vamplet in. They couldn't come with cuter packaging, even the box it shipped in came with a cute Vamplets sticker on the outer box.
Each Vamplet comes complete with it's very own little coffin, undeath certificate, and Got Blood Pin. Each Vamplet is unique in it's very own way and has it's own little personality. The Vamplet I received(Midnight Mori) personality seems to fit me almost to a tee! You see she is bossy and always wants her way, quite similar to how I am! She is a leader and does not like to be told no, sounds just like me!
This 9.5 inch plush stuffed doll features a big pink bow, complete with a skull on it, that rests on top of her head. Too add to it's detail, Midnight Mori sports a skull printed diaper, a bracelet that reads "bad", and two frightening fangs that hang from her frown. She should be put to rest in her coffin during the day and then in her crib during the night. She gets hungry, so make sure you have her bottle of blood on hand. I also received a bottle of their Disappearing blood which works with a single tilt of the bottle. The blood in the bottle magically disappears as you tilt it and then reappear as you tilt it back for lots of fun!
Please keep in mind Vamplets are not toys and should not be given to children under the age of fourteen. I have three sons ranging in age from seven years to one year old. Teaching them their abc's at times can be somewhat difficult, as it takes alot to get them interested in learning about them. I found a great product that encourages children to learn their abc's while having fun doing so! Alphabeasts is a great site that sells Alphabeasts. Wondering exactly what Alphabeasts are? I chose a "V" for my youngest son, "Z" for my middle son, and a "J" for my oldest son.
"J" is for Juno - A bright green and yellow colored creature that is so strong he doesnt always realize his own strength. He is friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand.
"V" is for Vin'Vin - A bright yellow and purple colored baby Alpahabeast. She is still learning and hasnt yet discovered her true powers.
"Z" is for Sipperzoom - A bright colored purple and pink creature that moves by slipping and sliding around alphaland.
As soon as the Alphbeasts arrived I surprised all three of my sons with them. My one year olds face lit up with joy as soon as he layed eyes on it. He ran across the room and gave it a huge hug! My two year old grabbed it up and then went and hid it(I guess he didn't want his brothers to try and steal it). My seven year old placed it on his bed. I pointed out to them the letters on the Alphabeasts, and what they stood for, which especially interested my seven year old , as he understands the best.
On the front of each Alphabeasts body is an uppercase letter, but once you flip it over you will find a total different color, and a lowercase letter. This is good because children will be able to recognize both uppercase and lower case letters. Teaching your children the alphabet is very important because it lays the foundation for learning sucess. It will help build strong speaking, reading, and writing skills for your childrens future. The Alphabeast has been especially helpful for teaching my two year old the first letter of his name. My one year old doesnt quite get it yet, but give him a little time and he will!

What are Piggy Wiggies? Piggy Wiggies are some of the cutest toys I have seen in quite a while! They are a family of hand crafted collectible pigs, that are made a lot like a sock monkey, but cuter! Piggy Wiggies come in different colors and sizes, and each Piggy Wiggies style has it's own little loving personality and story. They are the newest collectible craze, as soon as you see them you will want to collect them all!
To me, Piggy Wiggies are my new definition of cute! They ship them in a regular cardboard box , but they stick a special Piggy Wiggies sticker on it, that really makes it stand out. As soon as I opened the box I found two adorably decorated Boxes, along with some matching tissue paper. Each box features the Piggy Wiggies logo on the front of the box. The top of the box has a place for you to write, who the Piggy Wiggy is to, and who it is from. This is especially nice if you are giving it as a gift, you really don't need to giftwrap them, and if you do, the matching tissue paper is already included!
I opened up the first box to find Mumsie, a bright yellow pig with big purple nostrils, made out of cute shaped buttons. The ears stick straight up and are the inside of them is decorated with Yellow and Purple flowers. A tag is attatched to it's ear, and in the inside you will find this little story:
"Mumsie is the mother of the family. She has a warm heart and is a free spirit. She loves to look after other Piggy Wiggies. She enjoys cooking and trying new recipes on the family! Give her lots of smooches, and she will fill your life with warmth and happiness." This precious Piggy Wiggy is very soft and cuddly, just like the other Piggy Wiggies. This adorable piggy is from their Daisy Collection.
When I opened the second box, I found a little Lime Green pig accented with orange and Orange button nostrils. The ears were decorated with a cute little floral print, that really makes them stand out. Doodles is perfect for my sons, as it is a male piggy! There is also another male piggy, his name is YoYo. On the inside of Doodles tag, you will find the following story: "Doodles is the dad of the family. He is strong and brave, but is a big softy at heart. He will look after you other Piggy Wiggies and make sure they are all happy. He's kind and loving. It's always great to have Doodles around!" Doodles, along with the other Piggy Wiggies are handcrafted with love. Besides their line of Piggy Wiggies and Mini Piggy Wiggies, they also offer a darling keychain. Please note* Piggy Wiggies are intended for ages 3+.
Piggy Wiggies make the perfect gift for any girl or boy! I would purchase them as birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers, and even favors for a party. The only problem I had with them is my son's kept fighting over which one gets to play with Doodles(the male piggy). The Piggy Wiggies inspired us to change the lyrics to the "This Little Piggy" nursery rhyme. Now we say " This little Piggy Wiggy went to the market. This little Piggy Wiggy stayed home. This little Piggy Wiggy had Roast Beef. This little Piggy Wiggy had none. And this little Piggy Wiggy went 'Wee!"Wee!"Wee! all the way home". My two year old gets such a kick out of our newest little nursery rhyme twist! Piggy Wiggies are a huge hit in my house, and I am sure they would be in yours too!

PET CAKES SERIES 2
You may or not remember, but a while back I reviewed Pet Cakes Series one. PetCakes is an adorable collectible line of plush pets made for ages 3 and up. I loved the first set, so as soon as the second set came out I was more than excited to review them! That's right Pet Cakes is serving up another batch of Pet Cakes! The thing that really excites me about the second series of Pet Cakes is that the colors fit well with my children...who are all boys! The first set featured four different breeds of dogs, while this series features a variety of four forest animals.
Each Pet Cake features an adorable little plush animal, peaking out of a cupcake wrapper, and topped with frosting. Kids will be surprised when they find a cute little forest animal nestled in a cupcake! These precious Cupcake Pets combine the sweetness of cupcakes with the cuteness of the soft plush forest animals, making them extemely unique, and providing your children with hours of entertainment. Each Plush PetCake includes it's very own whimsical backstory. They make great gifts, favors, stocking stuffers, prizes, and rewards for good grades.
Nutty Nicky - Squirrel is her name and running up trees is her game! Nutty Nicky is a gray squirrel that holds a cute little checkered nut. She comes snuggled down in a green cupcake wrapper and sports a colorful yellow polka dotted frosting hat.
Bamboo Berry - Bamboo Berry the panda lives in the bamboo patch in Honey Suckle Woods. This sweet little panda comes nestled down in a purple cupcake wrapper and wears a polka dotted Blue frosting hat on top of it's head. It even comes topped off with a cherry on top.
Roco Coco - This adorable raccoon loves licking sweet frosting off of cupcakes left from family picnics. This brown, white, and black colored racoon is snuggled down in a yellow cupcake wrapper with black stripes. A Purple frosting hat, along with colorful sprinkles, and a cherry tops off this sweet little cupcake.
Honey Cakes - This charming little bear loves to look for bee hives and make friends with the bees. Honey Cakes comes in a yellow cupcake wrapper with black stripes. It is topped off with a orange frosting hat , and sprinkled with little bees, with a cherry on top!
My children were super excited when they saw the new line of PetCakes! My oldest son immediately grabbed Roco Coco, and my middle son snatched up Nutty Nicky, which left my youngest son with Bamboo Berry and Honey Cakes. My favorite happens to be Honey Cakes because I love its cute little frosting hat , along with its charmng little face, with it's tounge hanging out the side of it's mouth. My children love bringing thier PetCakes along with them wherever they go because they are extemely easy to transport in their cupcake wrapper. PetCakes are attatched to the cupcake wrapper, but if you would like to remove them from the wrapper, just simply cut it off using scissors.

I recently had the opportunity to review Pet Cakes Toys. They are adorable plush pets that fit perfectly into their cupcake holders. Kids love Cupcakes and Puppies so whats better than Puppies in a Cupcake! Series one consists of:
Blueberry Buddy- A plush Shar Pei with a blue frosting hat and a cherry on top!
Randy Candy- A plush Mutt with a green frosting hat w/ a cherry on top ina pink cupcake holder.
Coco Coconut- A plush Poodle with a light pink frosting and a cherry on top.
Twinkle Sprinkles- A plush Beagle with a Pink frosting hat and sprinkles, topped off with a cherry.
Their names are just as adorable as their looks! My sons loved the idea of being able to store his "pet" in a cupcake holder. The cupcake holder is constructed strong and sturdy which makes it very durable. My sons favorite Cupcake Pet is Bluebery Buddy(pictured below) which keeps him entertained for quite a while.
I gave the more girly Cupcake Pets to girls at his Birthday Party. The Cupcake Pets kept the girls entertained at the party and they loved them! Cupcake Pets make great favors, stocking stuffers, rewards, or gifts for children ages three and older. They would make a cute theme for a Birthday Party with Cupcake Pets as favors and Cupcakes instead of cake! They retail for $13.99 and can be found at many stores including: Toys R Us, Amazon, and Fao Schwarz, just to name a few! Be on the look out for a new line of Pet Cakes that will be realeased in 2011. Their new line of Cupcake Pets includes plush characters such as Rabbits, Racoons, Bears and Kittens.
